Or just use Bonjour Browser, that was written explicitly for it.

iStumbler is quite generally useful, but yeah, Bonjour Browser works much, much better for this particular purpose. On a public network, BB can be quite revealing...

i use Rawr-jour, which has nice Growl notifications of service changes
