10.4: View SSL Certificate info in Safari 2.0 Web Browsers
Tiger only hintI stumbled upon this by accident, and thought it was a nice touch. In Safari 2.0, when on a secure site, you can click on the "Lock" icon in the upper right corner of the browser window to view the SSL certificate, and all details about it. I was never able to do that before. Nice!

Good find. Maybe ask John Gruber to add that to his Tiger Details page?

When viewing a site's certificate, you can drag the large certificate icon to your desktop, which will create a file containing that certificate.

If you hold the option key down while dragging, the certificate gets saved in an alternate format (ASCII-safe '.pem' instead of binary '.cer').

Also, try dragging the certificate icon into a text document, with & without the option key down...
