Similarly, you can use other mouse software for a normal mouse.

I use Logitech Control Center to assign my scroll wheel button to the Cmd-Ctrl-d key combo for Dictionary lookups. The contextual menu dictionary is one of my favorite features of 10.4.... I can't stand not knowing what a word means...

A simple but brilliant hint! Although it may take a few minutes to get the right "feel" for the required tap. Tap quickly!
