10.4: Restore 'missing' Photoshop 7 fonts after upgrade Apps
Tiger only hintI had a number of fonts installed that, after upgrading to 10.4, were no longer available in Photoshop 7.

In order to get them back, I did this:
  1. Open Font Book
  2. Select the "missing" fonts
  3. Go to Edit -> Disable Fonts (it may take a minute to disable them)
  4. Go to Edit -> Enable Fonts
This worked to get these missing "non-missing" fonts back into Photoshop.

There is also a bug were some fonts just won't load in Photoshop (especially the older versions like 6 and 7). The work-around for this was to place a copy of the Font that wouldn't load into "~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Fonts/". I haven't need to do this since updating to Adobe CS1 though and I haven't noticed it in Adobe CS2 yet either. This is a pretty well documented thing I believe but I wanted to mention it just in case.
