10.4: Copy the entire text of a Mail message Apps
Tiger only hintIt's a small hint, but, in Mail.app, I hit Command-C with a message was selected in the Message list, and pasted into TextEdit ... and the entire message came in.

Potentially useful, but the problem is I was looking for the shortcut in Panther's Mail wherein you hit Command-Option-F, and it put the relevant info from the selected message into the search field. But that feature seems to have left us. Indeed, that shortcut could be nice if it were somehow propagated to Spotlight and search fields in other apps.

Hit Shift-Command-F with text highlighted and it gets sent to Spotlight. It's a Service Menu shortcut, so probably won't work with carbon apps.
