10.4: Find lost Keychain passwords Apps
Tiger only hintThe old Keychain Access application made it difficult to find a forgotten password. It presented a list of possibly hundreds of files sorted alphabetically, but this did not help much when the keyword was in the middle of the file name.

Tiger's Keychain Access now has a search window. Put in a keyword (such as macosxhints), and matching keychain file(s) will appear instantly. Click on the file, enter your administrator password, and you're back in business.

Much as I love this site, I don't see how this 'hint' got published.

Perhaps if i submitted a similar one: "hey did you know there is a search bar in Safari, if you type stuff in there it will automatically search Google"?

The new keychain access is a step backward in my opinion. It takes at least 2 extra clicks to access a password now. And the search box is case sensitive, which if you ask me was a godawful idea.

Maybe those minor items you mention are a step backward but I think most anyone will agree that Keychain Access has definitely improved overall in Tiger.

I'm sure there are plenty of people who didn't know this; it's a perfectly valid and valuable tip.
