Safari 1.3 changes the View Source shortcut Web Browsers
Not really a "hint" per se, but a notice. The key for viewing source in Safari has changed from "V" to "U." Which matches the functionality of Firefox, but threw me way off initially.

[robg adds: Yes, it's a change in a menu item hint ... but it seemed to fit with the following hint about the tab shortcuts in Safari 1.3. According to Dave Hyatt, the change wasn't made to match Firefox, but rather, to match the View Source shortcut in Mail. If it bothers you, use the method in the next hint to change it back.]

Safari 1.3 changes the View Source shortcut
Authored by: 3mors on Apr 21, '05 10:53:42AM

i'm using the old "CMD + ALT + LEFT ARROW" and "CMD + ALT + RIGHT ARROW" keystrokes with my logitech mx700 mouse and they seems to work on safari 1.3/2.0, but only if the focus is on the html code, not on address bar or other elements.
i have an italian keyboard layout, how can i set the "CMD + {" and "CMD + }" keystrokes? on logitech control center appears different chars, thanks.

I wonder why the letter U. I like to imagine it's for "Urtext"!
