Use two IMAP accounts with the same server in Mail Apps
For work and school, I use two IMAP mail accounts. The two accounts are on the same server, but they have different root folder paths -- one is 'mail' and the other is 'work'. Mail would never let me create two accounts with the same server address, yet different root folder paths.

I recently found out that you can create a second account with a bogus incoming server address, and then one can change the address once it is saved (and fails). This allows Mail to have two IMAP accounts with the same incoming server address.

You can also use the full name for one account, and the IP address for the other one.
