Fix broken Web View feature in Keynote 2 Apps
Do you have Keynote2? Does the Web View feature not work for you? You insert a web view, but nothing at all happens? If so, thanks to this thread on the Apple Discussions forums, and ultimately a MacFixIt posting, there's now a solution to this problem.

The simple solution turns out to be deleting com.apple.internetconfig.plist from your user's Library/Preferences folder. Deleting this file does not seem to have any other ill effects, and web views should now work in Keynote 2.

That fix was posted on the Apple support site quite a while ago, and many of us with the problem noted that it doesn't work for all of us. That's the case with me. I cannot use the Webview object, and deleting this plist does NOT fix it.

We still need to wait for Apple to acknowledge the problem and fix it.

I take it back -- this fix does now work for me. I tried it when it was first posted on the Apple support site and it didn't work. Either something has changed, or that original fix suggested deleting a different plist.

Sorry...

the original plist fix, that was posted a while ago on the forums, did not work. you are correct about that. This however, and thankfully, is a different plist file that does eradicate the problem. I did not want to complicate things by posting about something that doesn't work, it would make the post confusing for those not in on the discussion over at the Apple Discussion forums.
