A shortcut to complete URLs in OmniWeb 5 Web Browsers
Like Safari, OmniWeb 5 remembers sites you have visited before, and when you start typing in the address, it gives you suggestions after just a few keystrokes. Unlike Safari, though, OmniWeb 5 will allow you to enter just the end of a URL and still have it show up in the list.

For example, suppose you have visited the site 'www.mybank.com/accounts/myaccount/chequing'. In Safari you would start typing 'www.mybank.com/ac,' and Safari would offer the rest of the text for you to select. In Omniweb 5, you can just type 'chequing,' and it will include the site in the list. A lot easier to remember, and much quicker to type.

A shortcut to complete URLs in OmniWeb 5

another reason why ow5 is imho the best browser around. :-)
make sure to use its builtin-shortcuts, too!

for example:
you can set the letter "x" typed into the location bar to take you to this site.

i have defined many shortcuts like that, so all i need to do is type 1-3 letters like "img" and i'll be taken to insidemacgames.com.

you can also make these shortcuts for searches so you can select them instead of google in the "google"-bar. now i can select to search google, imdb, wikipedia, versiontracker and a local music instruments dealer. :-)

have fun
pönn

Is there a similar tweak available in Firefox? I love auto-completed URLs.
