Use Disk Warrior on a 'too new for CD boot' Mac

I've found that my brand new 12" PowerBook will not boot from Alsoft's Disk Warrior 3.0.2 CD. Apparently, the problem has something to do with incompatibilities with new Apple hardware. Here's a quick fix (you'll need another Mac with Firewire for this one).

Plug the PowerBook into any other Mac via FireWire. Boot the other Mac first, then boot the PowerBook while holding down the "T" key. This will boot the Powerbook into Firewire Target Disk Mode, and the PowerBook's hard drive will mount on the other Mac as if it was an external FireWire drive. Insert the Disk Warrior CD, launch Disk Warrior, choose the PowerBook's hard drive, and rebuild! Questions? Comments? Can anyone think of an easier way?
