'Switch to desktop...' function in Desktop Manager Apps
Recently we saw a hint describing how to switch to the desktop of the current application's topmost window when it becomes active via command-tab or the dock, using Codetek's Virtual Desktop. Well, here's another reason why you should be using the latest version of Rich Wareham's Desktop Manager. Simply Shift-click on an open application in the dock, and be brought directly to the virtual desktop containing that application's top-most window. The application will then have focus, too.

This keyboard shortcut seems to be undocumented.

Of course Shift-clicking in a Command-Tab window will also work.

IIRC, shift-clicking on a window of the app (in such a way that you switch to the app, i.e. do it when the window can become frontmost and when that app isn't already active) also switches to the "main" desktop for that app.

And I find this very annoying. Whenever I click on my mail.appetizer window with shift down (as part of the key shortcut for deleting the message) it switches me to Mail.app's desktop
