Configure port forwarding on OS X Server OS X Server
OS X Server port forwarding can't be configured with the GUI, as natd.conf is erased by default by the GUI Admin program. So labo-Apple.com has written a small tutorial on how to edit the natd.plist used by Server Admin to forward port with NATD.

I followed the instructions in the article but when I restart NAT, the service fails to start. I'm running Panther Server 10.3.6. Has anyone been able to get this to work?

After a bit of a struggle we've worked out how to fix this. The line where it specifies the protocol "TCP" must be changed to "tcp".

Changing the case of this fixed the problem for us.
