A fix for a NeoOfficeJ installer problem Apps
Some people have reported that the NeoOfficeJ installer will report "Can't Install This Software." The problem is that there isn't a BSD.pkg in /Library -=> Receipts. So just make a folder in /Library -> Receipts, and name it "BSD.pkg" -- the installer only checks for the existince of that file. After creating the empty folder, the installer should work.

...Only if one actually has the BSD subsystem installed and the reciept is simply missing; without the BSD subsytem, NeoOffice/J won't run.

Exactly. But most people who just used the Easy Install method probably have it. You might also have it if you got it directly from Apple with 10.3 preinstalled.
