Paste URLs into OmniWeb 5's Download Window Web Browsers
I found this tip purely by accident (not sure if it's already been covered). I was trying to download the latest Quicksilver update in Omniweb 5, but for some reason, OW5 doesn't like the .cpgz extension very much and the browser doesn't do much except report an error.

In desperation I copied the URL to the clipboard and opened OmniWeb 5's Download window. I then hit Command-V (Paste), and the URL appeared in the Download window and started to download the update without any problem.

I've tried this with a couple of other files and they seem to work fine too.

Paste URLs into OmniWeb 5's Download Window

In all the mac browsers I've tried, putting a URL into the location bar and hitting option-enter downloaded it regardless of the file type.

Oh, and once you get QS B31 it can download and install updates to itself automagically without going through the browser (assuming you use the built-in update mechanism available in prefs).

It actually works as the same for Safari, good for saving webpages in a complete-html format

Drag & Drop URLs into OmniWeb 5's Download Window

You can also just drag the URL link from the browser window and drop it onto the download window, at least for URL's that aren't redirects. Not sure if redirects work this way or not...
