Fix broken cross-volume aliases in column view

If you create an alias of a folder and move it to another volume, the alias becomes a 'dead-end' when navigating in column view -- click it, and all you see is a folder with an arrow on it.

To fix this, you have to select the broken alias, choose File -> Get Info, and then click the Select New Original button. You'll then have to re-select the original on the other volume, and then it will work as expected.

[robg adds: Oddly enough, aliases copied across volumes work just fine in icon and list view (when double-clicked, the original folder opens); it's just column-view that breaks them. You can avoid this problem if you create the aliases directly on the destination volume -- just command-option drag the original to the destination, and you'll create an alias instead of moving or copying it.]
