There was some discussion on the Mac OS X Hints forums about being able to see all windows when using Command-Tab for switching (alal Windows Alt-Tab behavior). This led to a side discussion on how to see all windows, hidden or not, in the Window Dock (a special dock that shows open windows) of DragThing. As it turns out, this is not possible -- unless the windows of the hidden application are also minimized.
So I put a script together that will allow you to view all windows that can be viewable, even the hidden ones. As of today, the latest version of the script can be seen in this post from the above discussion. The main thing to point out here is that the name of my DragThing window dock is "running document." Please change the code to reflect the name of your window dock, which you can see in the DragThing -> Dock Options menu with the window dock selected.
Future versions of the script will appear in the thread itself, not in the above-linked specific post -- so look to the first link in this hint for updated versions of the script.
[robg adds: I haven't tested this one yet...]
