How to change that boring 'Other Users' icon in your login-window to something funnier. The trick is done with the following shell command:
I've written an install- as well as an uninstall-script and included the necessary tiff-files. The package can be downloaded here if you want to. I would say it makes your login-window look "Spiffy."
[robg adds: I checked the scripts and image in the download file; they're all quite safe, and if you read a certain Mac magazine, you'll get the reference to Spiffy.]
% cp UsersPref.tiff.new /System/Library/CoreServices/\
SecurityAgentPlugins/loginwindow.bundle/Contents/Resources/UsersPref.tiff
This assumes you have a tiff-file of 48x48 pixels called UsersPref.tiff.new in the working directory, of course.
