Get rid of a stuck Exposé screen border

When you invoke the Exposé "Show Desktop" function, a translucent black border appears around the screen to let you know that you're in Exposé mode. But sometimes, this border will stick to the screen edges, even after you've restored your windows. It can be pretty annoying. One way to get rid of it is logging out and back in, but that's tedious.

But fear not! There is a solution. Exposé is controlled through the Dock, so simply killing the Dock process will get rid of the black border. You can use Activity Monitor, Terminal (killall Dock) or whatever to kill the Dock.
