Install a new CUPS backend for USB printing System
Just an FYI for anyone printing with Gimp-print over USB. I got to the usbtb - high performance CUPS printing page from the Gimp-Print support forums and downloaded the provided usbtbUSB driver. Previously, I couldn't get Gimp-Print to work at all with Panther, but when I downloaded this driver it worked! And it was fast, too.

Plus it shows the ink levels in my Epson Photo 820, although the display is a little awkward (I had to resize the progress window a lot to show all of the inks).

Well, I'm using the default gimp-print drivers for my Epson Stylus Photo 825 connected to the USB port on my AEBS. Any idea if this driver will work with printers connected to an AEBS?

Am I missing something here?

GIMP Print is installed as part of Panther. I have an Epson SP 870 and have the option of either using the "native" Epson driver, or the GIMP Print/CUPS driver. Both work fine.
