See an Easter Egg in fortune-mod Makefile UNIX
Just for fun ... if you download the Debian fortune-mod, try typing make love in the source directory.

[robg adds: I downloaded the tar.gz file, expanded it, and then tested the egg. Yes, it works ... but really, it's not all that impressive. For those that want to see it, I won't spoil the modest surprise here, though someone may very well do so in the comments.]

Please rob, keep macosxhints on-topic. This is of little interest and relevance here :<.

To save anyone the time and trouble, I'll just paste here what the easter egg says:

"$ make love
Not war?
Look, I'm not equipped for that, okay?
Contact your hardware vendor for appropriate mods."

Why are we here?

The fact that Rob posted this 'hint' means one of two things:

- Rob felt that this would be a great way to pique newbie open-sourcers' interest and get them to try out more ambitious and bigger software.
- There is a serious and desperate shortage of really *good* hint material, and while I admire your devotion to the development of this site, maybe you should spend less time criticizing and more time coming up with good competition!
