And by connect I mean switching on the device after it has been successfully paired. It doesn't seem to matter what order you pair the devices in, just what order they are connected each time you turn the Mac on (or wake it from sleep).

I recently purchased a Bluetake BT500 bluetooth mouse. And what a fantastic mouse it is. Anyway, I found that it does have some problems when using it with the Apple Wireless keyboard. If you connect the Bluetake BT500 mouse BEFORE the Apple Wireless keyboard, the mouse will keep losing connection every 15 seconds or so. If you connect the Apple Wireless keyboard BEFORE the Bluetake BT500 mouse, all will work perfectly.

Bluetake BT500 mice and Apple wireless keyboards
Interesting. Before I bought my BT500 my research showed that some people were having 'disconnect' problems but when I got mine I never experienced them myself. I thought it might have been the BT software update but now I know its because I don't have a wireless keyboard.

Is that a button in the middle? Is the scroll wheel not clickable? The middle button (if it is one) sure looks like it would be far too easy to click by accident.

The wheel is clickable. The oval part underneath it is nothing.

Any ideas where I might pick one of these up in the UK? I can't find the white ones at all...

Try ebay for just the regular blue one - lots of people list them. As for the white they were 'limited editions' - I got mine from kingofgadgets.com but you have to ask for them - email them to see if they have any left in stock.

Try ebay... "kingofgadgets" is a US seller but you can buy them for £23 + p&p (can't remember how much). Neat little device, can't have too shaky a hand mind!

I had that problem too, both when the mouse was connected before *or* after the keyboard. Then I ran the latest BT Keyboard update, restarted, and everything has been fine.

Must you use the Adaptor with the PowerBook G4's. I thought since they are come with pre-built-in BlueTooth, there was no need for the adpator. The Blue Take web site seems to adovate otherwise. Any one?
