The second Kensington MouseWorks beta was released recently. Kensington MouseWorks lets you open a file or application with a Launch File shortcut. To open a folder you can use the Launch URL shortcut by entering a URL like this:
file://localhost/Applications/UtilitiesIf there are spaces in the path name to the folder you want to open, substitute %20 for each space like this:
file://localhost/Library/Application%20SupportIf you're using the MouseWorks 2.5 beta and would like to be rid of the menu extra it installs (because you can't command-drag it like most menu extras), just change the name of the menu extra's bundle package. It can be found here: /Library -> PreferencePanes -> MouseWorks.prefPane -> Contents -> Resources -> Support -> MouseWorks Background.app -> Contents -> Resources -> MWMenuExtra.bundle. Do a Get Info on the final Resources folder, note the current ownership settings, change them such that you have read/write privileges, then rename the bundle. When done, use Get Info again to reset the permissions to their original values.
