Easily add DiskWarrior to TechTool Pro 4.0.2

At the onset, I should say that Micromat does NOT support adding anything to its TechTool Pro (TTP) eDrive. But some of us did add DiskWarrior (DW) to TTP 4.0.1's eDrive, and now that I'm freed of the beta tester's secrecy agreement by the March 23 public release of 4.0.2, I can report that 4.0.2 and DiskWarrior 3.0.1 continue to co-exist in harmony on the new version's eDrive.

One creates the eDrive and has TTP launch it on re-start. Then you drag DW from its applications folder into the eDrive's applications folder. That's it! Just drag the icon down from the eDrive's apps folder to the Dock and click on it. Although that's hardly what Micromat intended, it gives one a great combination of the best strengths of both great Mac utilities in a fast-operating equivalent of adding a second drive to a laptop or single-drive computer. Goodbye, CDs. For the record, I'm a volunteer beta tester and retired communications professor.
