I have a quite complex automatic workflow setup containing serveral applications on serveral iMacs, all connected using standard AFP. Together those machines performs numerous of important 24/7 tasks critical to my work. It has been a real pain to constantly monitoring all mounted volumes and running applications just to prevent the system from stop working, a network folder unmounting or an application crashing just causes to much problems.

This _was_ a problem until yesterday when discovering Reconnector that seems to take care of this problem in quite nice way, remounting lost networkmounts and restarting crashed/shutdown applications.

At least it made my day.
