Hi, as some of you may know, Fotolook doesn't work in Panther, but did in Jaguar. I just found a way to re-use Fotolook with a DUOSCan HID under Panther and this is very good news. I'm just giving the info, as I'm not the author of the original, which I found posted in comp.periphs.scanners:

However, if you need use Fotolook software in Panther, this may be your only solution -- just make sure you back up the original files first! You might also want to try VueScan, a third-party scanning package that works with many scanners.]
I have a duoscan Agfa and I have find a solution. In Panther I have abilited ROOT user, then I have pasted in system>library>extensions the two Kext from system 10.2.8:I tested it and it works like a charm -- I have Fotolook 3.6, a DUOSCAN HID, Adaptec 2930 and Panther 10.3.1.
