For everyone who uses Photoshop 7 or CS and the File Browser... did you know that there is an archive of every thumbnail generated by viewing images in File Browser? Did you know that it can grow to be HUGE? Mine was hogging a whopping half-a-gigabyte of hard disk space.

To regain this space, simply go to the File Browser, select that little black triangle at the top right, go down to "Purge Cache" and select it. I have not noticed any slowdown in rendering thumbnails within File Browser but I have noticed all of the extra space I have.
