Two months ago, I was finishing up my OS X corporate image when I realized that I had lost the secret tool Symantec gave me that pointed a NAV client at a LiveUpdate server. So I opened up my third ticket telling them I lost it. It seems perhaps they got tired of people like me asking for the tool, so there is now a Knowledge Base article about how to make a Macintosh running NAV 9.0 point at a company LiveUpdate server rather than Symantec's server. To set up the client, you will need the CopyLiveUpdateConf tool. This tool allows you to copy your edited liveupdate.conf file to the appropriate location. You can download the tool from the Symantec FTP site.
