Export pictures from iPhoto directly to .mac's Public folder Apps
I frequently like to share (share as in make the images available for download) digital pictures I take with friends. Since I have a .mac account, this is easy. First I set up a download page through the usual .mac homepage instructions:
  1. Login to .mac in your favorite browser
  2. Click on the HomePage link on the left hand side
  3. In the "Create a Page" section, click on the Filesharing tab
  4. Create a download page
Now, back in the Finder, select Go -> iDisk -> My iDisk. Select your Public folder and then use File -> Add to Sidebar (Command-T). Now when you export an image out of iPhoto, your Public Folder will appear in the drop down menu of available locations on the File Export tab.
