Here is something neat that does not seem to be documented.
I was listening to a streaming radio station that was not listing the currently playing song in iTunes. I wanted to visit the website for the stream that was listed in the iTunes display. So, instead of opening Safari and typing the info in, I did this -- Command + clicked on the URL in the iTunes display. Lo and behold, Safari launched and opened the secified URL.
[robg adds: You may have to click the iTunes display to get it to cycle to the URL, but once it's visible, a Command-click does indeed open the site in your default browswer.]
