After renaming the file, you can add the i350 like any other printer. I applied this simple change and it saved me from buying a new printer as the i350 now runs perfectly.

Like many others, I "lost" my i350 after installing Panther, yet it worked flawlessly in Jaguar. It showed up in the Add Printer dialogue, but Panther stated that no drivers could be found for it, although I did install them from the CD without any problems. The solution was rather simple and was finally found in Apple's discussion boards. Just rename the Canon190PM.plugin file found in /Library -> Printers -> Canon -> BJPrinter -> PMs -> Canon190PM.plugin to i350PM.plugin.
