10.3: Easily move Address Book images to T610 phones

I filled my T610 with pictures of my contacts I added in my addressbook, so I have a visual clue who's calling or writing SMS. With Jaguar this was a time-consuming challenge, but with Panther it nearly goes on the fly...

Make a new folder on your desktop, call it convert or something like that. Add the folder action "Duplicate as jpeg." Now open your Address Book, choose your contact and switch to edit mode. Then just drop the picture of your contact on the picture field in the Address Book. Now you can resize and crop it as desired.

Switch back to normal mode and drag the picture out of the frame directly into the convert folder. Address Book normally handles tiff images, but with the folder action you get a jpeg version of it without having do export or convert it manually.

Then just upload the jpeg via your Bluteooth application (maybe there is a way to do it with AppleScript and/or folder actions as well?). The image will have the proper dimensions for your t610 and will look great. Then just add it on the phone to your contact - and that's it.
