10.3: X11 and fast user switching UNIX
I think I read somewhere that X11 could work for only one logged-in user. Actually, when fast user switching, several people can have access to X11. The first one gets display 0 (the default), the second one gets display one and thus needs to

setenv DISPLAY :1.0

Is it possible that the switched user will have the same permissions in X11 as the first user? If so, that would be bad.

It should be OK unless you specifically disable the Xauthautity mecanism.
