Use a keyboard shortcut to show the main iCal window

Quite a specific hint here, but one I find saves me time. As a hardened geek ;), I tend to use the keyboard for navigation more than the mouse. I often keep iCal running, but with the main window closed. One thing that often used to irritate me was that if I needed to look at something in iCal, I had to use the mouse to select the "iCal" menu item (of the "Window" menu) to display the window. This menu item has no keyboard shortcut, and Command-1 to Command-3 do not show the window if it is closed.

I recently discovered that there is a workaround: The "Go to Today" menu item of the "View" Menu does have a keyboard shortcut (Command T) and does show the window if it's closed. So if you need to open the main iCal window from the keyboard, just use Command-T.

[robg adds: I'm not sure why the main shortcuts don't open a window if there's not one currently in existence, but this is a nice workaround...]
