10.3: Resize the Find File dialog box Desktop
Not really a big hint, just wanted to make sure people knew, that in Panther, you are now able to expand the list of volumes to be searched, in the Finder's find file dialog box.

[robg adds: It took me a while to notice this one, because the normal "window resize" widget is still missing from the Find dialog. All that's there is the dot that normally is used to change the space allocation between two panes in one window (ala the Finder sidebar). But in the Find dialog, it's used to increase the size of the window, not to re-allocate existing space. Why they just can't put a normal resize widget on the box, I don't know...]

that is wrong and unexpected behavior! you don't even see MS Windows resizing windows from the middle of the window! :\

vacuums do not suck. they merely provide an absence that allows other objects to take the place of what becomes absent.

It makes sense to me, seeing as the space couldn't be reallocated without screwing up the formating of the window. Not to mention, the only reason you would need to resize the window is if you want to see more drives and there it is.. at your fingertips.
