10.3: Potential fix for printing issues Apps

A variety of printing problems have been reported by people on the Apple Forums and in these local forums. The one solution which seems to work for many people is from All OSX. This runs a script which fixes problems that can be generated by running Fix Disk Permissions script after upgrading.

Though this hint has only been suggested for people doing an Upgrade Install, I found that it fixed my problematic printer (HP Business Inkjet 1100) that wouldn't work after a clean install.

[robg adds: Make sure you read the comments on All OS X before trying this fix -- most people report success, but there are a few gotcha stories there, too. I'm not sure if 10.3.1 resolves this problem or not.]

10.3.1 probably doesn't address the issue. At least based on a listing of changed files that appeared on the xlr8yourmac web site.

The MacOS 10.3.1 should fix the issue. It runs the same "CreateSystemUsers" script, and also adds one more user (qtss) and three groups (qtss, appserverusr, appserveradm).
But I'm not sure that the problem is really fixed until the user repairs file permissions.

The script is in MacOSXUpdate10.3.1.pkg/Contents/Resources/ postflight_actions/
