10.3: Quick access to your Favorites folder

For some reason, Command-Shift-F no longer opens your Favorites folder. Most people probably don't care about quick access to the Favorites folder, but I put aliases to all my common apps and files in there. If you have such a setup, it saves time to have a fast way to get to your "favorites."

As a workaround, you can set up the Finder to open the Favorites folder by default whenever you create a new window. In the Finder, just go to the menu Finder -> Preferences, and modify "New Finder windows open" to be the "Favorites" by clicking "Other..." Select "Favorites" from the left-hand column, and you can again get one-keystroke access to all those aliases.
