Open Cocoa applications in the background

You can open Cocoa applications in the background while maintaining your current application in the foreground simply by double-clicking on said app's dock icon at a fast-paced rhythm. The double-click pace takes a little practice to get, but it's worth it for apps like iPhoto that take a bit to load.

[robg adds: Interesting -- this works. It is a bit tricky to time, but I was able to consistenly get iPhoto opening in the background after a bit of practice. How odd ... I'm not sure if this works in Jaguar or not.]
