10.3: Paste web content with links from Safari to TextEdit

Thought this might be of use...

I just discovered In Panther that when you copy and paste a thread from a forum (or any web page in general) from Safari into a TextEdit document, all of the links remain active. Now you can delete all posts in the thread (or other superfluous information in the web page) except that which you find most pertinent, and save the result locally.

[robg adds: In my testing, this feature seems to be specific to Safari. Even using OmniWeb 4.5, which uses Safari's engine, you don't get the active links. Other browsers seem to just paste formatted text, for the most part.]
