10.3: Use Exposé to switch from PowerPoint to demos

One thing I've always found cumbersome about PowerPoint presentations in Slide Show mode is switching to other applications for demo purposes -- everyone seems to stop the slide show to get to the operating system to switch to another application, which breaks the flow of the presentation.

I was giving a presenation and wanted to switch to a demo when I overshot the PowerPoint controls and enabled Exposé. I then proceeded to simply click on the demo app window I wanted. Exposé can then be used to go right back to PowerPoint's Slide Show without ever leaving this mode. Nice, quick transitions between slides and demos.

Turns out that Alt-Tab works, too, which is something else I hadn't thought to use, nor had anyone else tried it yet.

[robg adds: Now that we're all very aware of how powerful Exposé is, I won't be running any more hints explaining how its basic features can be used to do "X" or "Y" differently than before. Simply put, Exposé is very useful in any number of different ways, and I think we've done a good job of documenting a few of those here to get you started with it...]
