At work, I have designers who want to view every font -- including the Bold and Italics -- all in one big list, and be able to quickly scroll through that big list to find the font that suits their fancy. Unfortunately, in Font Book, to view a font's Bold or Italics face, you have to click the disclosure triangle by that font. If you have lots of fonts, that's a lot of clicking. Well, here's the solution:

  1. Select any font in the "Fonts" pane.
  2. Do a Command + A to select every font in the Fonts pane.
  3. Press Command + RIGHT ARROW KEY
Wa-la -- all of them open. Pretty cool, huh?
