10.3: Use FontBook to get more information on fonts

Underneath the preview pane is a small dot. Double-click the button, and you'll get a slide-up window showing info about the font, including font type, foundry, copyright, family name, display name, and PostScript name.

If you leave your mouse near the copyright line, you may also see comments about the fonts. It seems to provide full copyright information regarding the font and often other tidbits.

Examples you can play with are Arial and Charcoal.
