Stream pre-recorded video via iChat AV Apps
If you use iChat AV with a DV camera, you can set the camera to VTR (playback) mode and stream pre-recorded video from your camera to whoever is on the other end of the conference. The video will appear flipped horizontally in your preview, but shows normally to the other person.

[robg adds: This is actually one of the cooler uses for iChat; audio and video are both streamed, so you can quickly show relatives videos without working on them in iMovie or iDVD. I streamed some of our hospital footage of Kylie, and it worked like a charm.]

Would'nt it be possible to do the same with Apple's (free) application "QuickTime Broadcaster"?

True, but you need Mac OS X Server for it to run

NOPE!

It runs just fine on Mac OS X client - you can even install QTSS on the non-server...
