Recover from an accidental group tab opening in Safari Web Browsers
Have you ever opened up a folder full of tabs in Safari accidentally (ie by Command-clicking on a bookmark folder), which then overwrites any tabs already carefully opened in the current window? Don't sweat about re-loading all the links you were looking at previously.

Simply hit the Back button, and Safari will immediately close any erroneously opened tabs and revert back to the set of tabs you had opened before.

Simple, yes, but has saved me a couple of times!

This behavior seems to be a bug to me (and I've reported it
as such); I find that opening as tabs replaces all the existing
tabs in the current window, instead of adding to them (with
the first "new" tab being the only way to get back to the
previous window/set of tabs--close that, and you can't get
back!).

Dave Hyatt, one of the developers on the Safari team, has pretty
much said in his weblog that this is the intended behaviour and is
not a bug.

but, what if you did it on purpose? I usually have about 5-9 tabs
open. I really want to be able to use Safari's "Open in Tabs"
function, but it does the same thing.. removing all other tabs
first.
It really needs to not do this. Does anyone know how I can
override this?
