Those who were (un)fortunate enough to buy the last round of Brother's laser MFC devices know how miserable their drivers were in OS X. While the OS 9 drivers supported faxing, duplexing, scanning, "n-up", the OSX drivers had no fax capability, crashed when duplexing or printing "n-up", but did support scanning earlier this year.
Well, version 1.30 of the printer and scanner drivers are available on Brother's website. While I'd like to think this is a result of my threats to sue (*grin*), it's more likely that the new drivers were released to support a new set of MFC's released today. I am pleased to report that faxing and "n-up" printing are now working although duplexing is mysteriously missing. Oh well, one can hope for v1.40, eh?
