Show more data in the Finder's column view mode

This is very basic, but I'd completely missed it until now.

In the Finder's View -> Show View Options menu, changing the font size in List and Icon views does what you'd expect, and isn't very useful -- icon size is the main limit to how much can be shown in one window, and the icons remain fixed as the text size changes.

However, the font size control when in a Column View window actually changes the size of the icons as well. You can fit noticeably more in a single window at 11pt instead of the default 12pt, and it's a simple global change.

Also, when in Icon view, don't miss the "Show Item Info" option. Not much good on the desktop, but it can be very useful to see at a glance how many items are in each folder.

[robg adds: Amazingly simple, and yet I too had overlooked the fact that the icons themselves resize in column view mode, but not in the other two modes. I think I first tested the font size setting on an icon view window, and decided it wasn't very useful. I'm certain I never tried it on a column view window, or I would have gone to 11pt a long time ago!]
