Show before and after edit views in iPhoto2 Apps
In iPhoto2 when you are editing a photo and use any of the retouching tools (Crop, Enhance, Retouch, Red Eye, and B & W), you can easily compare the changed image to the original image by pressing the Control Key on the keyboard. That way, you can tell if the edits are working for you or not before you commit to them.

[Editor's note: The control key is documented in help, but oddly enough not on the "Keyboard Shortcuts" page. You have to get into reading about the specific features such as "Enhance" before you see it mentioned.]

If you have pictures opening in a new window, this hint may or may not work. It will not work for me, but others claim that it \"sometimes\" works.
If you don\'t have new windows opening, it works like a charm.
