If your FTP server refuses to log users in to their directories with a message like:
To add a share point for /Users, either:
No directory! Logging in with home=/You need to configure a share point for /Users. Normally this will be created on system installation, but a few instances exist where it may not: e.g. upgrading Jaguar 10.2 to Mac OS X Server 10.2.
To add a share point for /Users, either:
- In the Sharing section of Workgroup Manager choose to share /Users, or
- Add an entry directly in NetInfo manager under /config/SharePoints for /Users
