Select the current URL in Safari with one click Web Browsers
When you click on the fav icon on the location bar in Safari (the icon next to the URL), the whole address gets selected.

Simple, but nice.

i think this was added in the v51 update after user feedback. im sure it never worked originally.

control click in the adress

or right click if you have a three click mouse.

and you can send the address by mail or others goofy things like speak it etc....

Maybe you all knew, but when you let MacOS X speak the URL above it doesn't say "www-dot-macosxhints-dot-com" . It says "www-dot-macos-TEN-hints-dot-com".

I thought it was sort of cool.

Since you're about to type a URL when you do that, copy, or paste, just use Cmd-L. It highlights the bar and you don't have to move your hand to the mouse to do any of the above. This also works in Moz and Chimera.
