RSS News
I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but what the heck is an RSS News feed? I went to the linked site, and it gives no details either, just says it's an RSS News reader. Did I miss something important recently? I'm guessing RSS news is some sort of Usenet News replacement or something?
Search here...
Search here on "rss" (no quotes) for quite a few articles explaining what it is and how to use it. It's not a replacement for usenet; it's a way to see site postings in a local application instead of a web browser.

Trouble with Fink Feed
I'm using NetNewsWireLite and at first, none of the feeds would go through and it would say there was a problem with the URL. But I chose the get info on one of them and changed the home page to a more pared down and typical URL, then clicked update and it went through. Then the others went through the same way. Keep futzing with it and you'll get it. |
